Why we are collecting this information: Equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) strengthen research communities and improve the quality of research. These EDI questions are taken from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Self-identification Questionnaire. We are collecting EDI information to measure how diverse Engage platform users are, so we can improve it and make sure it is inclusive for everyone. We also want to find out if there are any groups that aren't being represented here so we can invite them to use the platform.
